05/31/2019: Hollis performed in a staged reading of Paige Esterly's new play "Whittier, Alaska" with American Lore Theater at City Lore in the East Village! Hollis played the role of Erin, a bubbly tour guide whose self-defense mechanisms are tested when she meets a beautiful runaway bride.
05/06/2019: Hollis has graduated from Improv Level 3 at the People's Improv Theater! Led by their teacher Pat Swearingen, her class performed at the Striker Stage at the PIT's main theater space.
03/22/2019: Hollis performed with her improv team The Jaynes at NYC's ImprovFest at the People's Improv Theater!
01/28/2019: Hollis performed in a workshop production of "Scars of Your Body", a play with music by Valerie Work, at The Tank. She played a Coffee Slave who, resigned to her life in an interstellar coffee mine years after Earth's destruction, unexpectedly finds love.
01/05/2019: Hollis has graduated from Improv Level 2 at the People's Improv Theater! Led by their teacher Chris Booth, her class performed at the Striker Stage at the PIT's main theater space.
10/21/18: Hollis performed at the November showing of Paper Kraine, led by Lizzy Ann Lincoln and Cameron Jefts, in Ethan Ness's play "The List". She played Becky, a college student whose break-up with Ray (played by Jacen Ziev) escalates once the couple argues about what they owe each other...in detail.
9/16/18: Hollis' play "Tinker Rising: A Supervillain Love Story" received a workshop production at The Tank! Directed by Caroline Kittredge Faustine and produced by Crashbox Theater Company, the workshop was a rousing success and featured the work of Ashley Rogers, TJ Burlson, Aleigha Spinks, Alex Taylor, Jacen Ziev, Mateo Ervin, Sara Duplancic, Toby Nelson, Sylas Barrett, and Daxx Wieser. 7/24/18: Hollis is performing at Undiscovered Countries' July showcase! She will be presenting an excerpt from her autobiographical piece, "This is Why I Wouldn't" entitled "Thousand Miles" - the story of her first love, a.k.a the one that got away. The performance will take place at Bizarre Bar at 7pm.
6/11/18: Hollis can be heard on the latest episode of the podcast "One More Thing with Jaye and Robert"! In their episode "The A is Not for Ally", Hollis is joined by Josh Kane and Chrissy Pane to discuss asexuality and ace representation in media. The full episode can be found here.
6/6/18: Hollis has been selected by Crashbox Theater Company as the recipient of their first ever Playwright Sponsorship! A workshop of her play "Tinker Rising" will be produced at the Tank Theater this September.

5/17/18: Hollis performed in the workshop of American Lore Theater's "Valley Girls" at Dixon Place. Written by Jake Rosenberg, the workshop was directed by Gretta Wilson. Hollis played Ivy, a laid-back rocker attending CAL in the 1970's.
5/5/18: Hollis has officially finished her Level 1 training in Improv Comedy at the People's Improv Theater under Christine Pinero! Her final showcase took place at the PIT Stryker Stage on May 5th.
3/01/18: Hollis will be performing at Paper Kraine on March 28th at the Kraine Theater for their monthly showcase of developing work! For presentation of pieces related to "Intimacy", Hollis will be presenting an excerpt from her autobiographical piece "This is Why I Wouldn't (Sleep with You), a series of essays exploring asexual identity and coming-of-age.
1/24/18: Hollis performed, and co-wrote with Adin Lenihan, the short piece "Hark! My Wounds Reopen!" -an American melodrama in the style of Tennessee Williams. The piece went up at Undiscovered Countries' Infinite Festival at Bizarre Bushwick.
10/30/2017: A reading of Hollis Beck's play "Tinker Rising" was produced by Crashbox Theater Company! The reading was directed by Caroline Faustine and featured the talents of Barbara Begley, Bre Northrup, Dan Chen, Emily Graner-Hoffman, Teri Madonna and Garrett Gray. 10/23/2017: Hollis Beck has uploaded a commercial V.O demo under the Media tab! This demo was created at Hyperbolic Audio with casting director and voice coach Elizabeth Bunnell.
08/09/2017: Hollis Beck completed a 6-week commercial V.O class at Hyperbolic Audio with Shut Up and Talk and casting director Ed Lewis. 06/10/2017: Hollis Beck presented a cut of her interactive, Choose-Your-Own-Destiny play "Lonely Skies" at The Hive for Undiscovered Countries' first ever Blast Off! development lab presentations. The piece starred herself, Chris Ogren, William Vaughn, Rudy Ramirez, Vincent Graham, Caroline Faustine, Dan Fisher and Cameron Toy. Other members of the Blast Off! development lab included TJ Burleson, Rebecca Vineyard, Brianne Rowe and Molly Liu.

03/20/2017: Hollis Beck starred as the titular character in "Penny the Dick-Stealing Witch: A Geni-tale" at Undiscovered Countries' Infinite Festival at Bizarre Bushwick! The show was an irreverent tale written by Chris Ogren about a mischievous witch and her adventures in the kingdom of Chauvania.
